===== Install a Third-Party Extension =====
Chrome features a built-in web store for browser add-ons, but some of these are unavailable within the store for various reasons. Below is a how-to guide for installing an add-on in Chrome from a third-party source.\\

**Note**: This guide assumes you have an extension file (.zip or otherwise) downloaded to your PC.\\
\\
1. **Right-click** on the downloaded extension file and select **Extract All**, then follow the on-screen prompts to save the file's contents to a memorable location, such as the Desktop.\\
\\
2. Open Chrome and click on the **Three-Dot Menu** > **More tools** > **Extensions**.\\

3. In the //Manage Extensions// tab, move the slider in the top-right to enable **Developer Mode**, and then click **Load Unpacked**.\\

3. Choose the folder you placed on your desktop in step 1 and click **OK**.\\

4. Your extension should now appear in the list of installed extensions in the //Manage Extensions// tab.\\
