code for show

A sampling of projects I have authored for both personal and professional endeavours, spanning many years and a variety of technologies. Some of these are intended as parts of larger projects and have therefore been reduced to a proof-of-concept for purpose of demonstration.

Medicare Data Search returns relevant information from publically-available Medicare data in a format that is clean and usable by market researchers. This search tool has been stripped out of a larger application, but its core purpose is to identify medical doctors by both the drugs they most commonly prescribe and the procedures they most commonly administer/perform.

The Collection displays a personal collection of video games and memorabilia through a simple, easy to navigate user interface. Collection data is curated by hand, then selectively enriched through various API services, ultimately being stored in SQL databases. Pages are rendered through a combination of PHP public endpoints and vanilla JavaScript.

The Sanders Archives houses a digital museum of photographs, books, currency, and assorted ephemera. Each item is indexed and digitally replicated in high-resolution (if possible) and freely displayed to the public. The site is configured with a customized Joomla tenant on a virtual LAMP stack.

Joepedia is a small public wiki, powered by DokuWiki, which contains a wealth of knowledge on computer-related troubleshooting, maintenance, and general best practices. This helps to organize my self-published articles and creates a simple mechanism from which help topics can be shared among family, friends, and colleagues.
